There are jobs that are considered man jobs, namely, only the gender of men can carry them out. The big question is: how do moving companies rate their line of work. As we know, today in the Western world, the trend is for equality as much as possible between the genders in every sphere. Naturally, there are still a number of subjects where they should be separated according to the sexes for the benefit of the job itself. However, it does seem that as women and men are respectively entering every sphere of the work world equally today, this should also apply to moving companies. In the past defenders of male power in moving companies would claim that as most of the work in moving companies is physical and hard, it should only naturally be left to the male sex to perform such tasks. This might have been true in the past for moving companies, when muscle power was the dominate quality. However, we all are aware of technologies’ strides today, especially for the benefit of moving companies. Thus less and less muscle power is needed and more and more button pushing finger work. Take for example, moving companies removing heavy loads from floors located high up. The goods are mechanically moved on to forks and the rest is finger work. In short, women should begin in earnest looking for jobs in moving companies.
