Moving services and holiday bonuses

Most people prefer to be at home with their families on holidays and not work. This is true too for employees of moving services. However, the problem is that sometimes there is more work than ever for moving services on holidays. The reason is that when people are not at work it’s often the ideal time to relocate and move house. This way they don’t have to use up precious holiday time which can be spent for actual holidays. The problem is how can moving services induce their employees to work on holidays instead of joining the others too on vacation? It seems that the only system worth applying is special holiday bonuses, and that might even mean doubling salaries for employees of moving services working on holiday. You can guess the rest. If moving serving services are going to give bonuses in the region of double salaries to their employees then the relocation fees to the customers have to rise considerably to compensate for this expense. It’s a chain reaction of course, and the next problem is whether the customer is willing to pay such heavy fees? It does seem that moving services have no other choice but to charge a lot more, otherwise why bother in the first place to offer such moving services on holidays?
